Pacific Customs - How to measure a swing axle for disc brakes

If your car has a swing axle transmission you need to determine if you have long axles or short axles. To determine which axles you have measure the splined portion of your axle, not including the threaded portion for the nut. If the splined portion of the axle measures 2" then you have short axle and if the splines measure 2 1/2" then you have long axle. If you have long axle you will need to purchase a long axle disc brake kit - part number AC598020 because the "snout" is not long enough and will prevent you from putting your axle nut on with this kit.

This kit does both sides of the car and includes:

2 - Chevrolet Rotors
2 - Calipers
2 - Caliper brackets
1 - Hardware kit to hold the calipers to the caliper brackets

The kit does NOT include axle seals kits. If you are installing this onto a swing axle you will need to purchase two swing axle seal kits.

The rotors are tapped for 14mm x 1.5 thread
