	This micro stub axle must be torqued with an actual torque wrench before moving the vehicle. The axle nut must be torqued to 180-220 ft./lbs then after the first 5 miles of driving, you must RETORQUE the axle nut because the bearings will settle. If you do not torque your axle nut with a torque wrench and if you do not retorque after the bearings settle, the bearing assemly will fail. Yes I Understand About The Washer:
	Latest Rage micro stub bearings require the use of a spacer washer #ac501221w beneath the axle nut. The stub axle goes too far through the bearing housing and when you torque the axle nut down the axle nut will bottom out on the splines of the stub axle before it even tightens against the bearing assembly. Micro stub rear disc brake kits commonly come with 4 different spline counts on their stub axles depending on their manufacturer. Most common micro stub axles are offered in 24 spline , 27 spline, 31 spline and 33 spline. This particular micro stub axle is 24 spline. When using this micro stub axle with bearing AC501430-24 a washer ac501221w is required underneath the axle nut. This stub axle is made in China.

If you want to swap your micro stub axles from a 24 spline to the thicker heavy duty 33 spline bearing, then you only need to purchase stub axles and bearing assemblies. You don't need to change your disc brakes.

This micro stub shaft uses a standard 24mm x 1.5 thread beetle axle nut.

Torque Specs:
36mm Axle Nut: 180-220 ft/lbs
Chevy Chevrolet Lug Pattern Nuts: 65-75 ft/lbs
3 Bearing Assembly Mounting Bolts: 65-75 ft/lbs
930 CV Bolts:40-45 ft/lbs
