Inside the pedal arm there is an adjustable balance bar to govern which master cylinder activates first allowing you to adjust your braking power for front or rear. Typically the 3/4 bore master cylinder is used for 2 piston caliper disc brakes and the 7/8 bore master cylinder is used on 4 piston caliper disc brakes.

This pedal assembly uses standard DOT 3 fluid in both master cylinders.
