5/8 Bore is usually used on the clutch and provides a softer pedal than a 3/4 bore.

3/4 Bore is usually used on the clutch or 4 wheel drum brakes, or 2 wheel disc brakes.

7/8 Bore is usually used on 4 or 2 Wheel Disc Brakes.
