Designed to take the stress off of the bottom of the slave cylinder shaft, allowing it to pivot freely. If you have a CNC, Neal, or Wilwood Brand slave cylinder they use a 5/16" size heim joint and you use part number AC301162Example A:If your Mendeola Transmission has a clevis for the clutch release arm you need to mount this slave saver next to the ring and pinion guide bolt and you'll have to radius the back edge of the slave saver to clear that guide bolt.Example B:If your Mendeola Transmission has the standard Volkswagen style loop for the clutch release arm then you need to mount this slave saver higher because the slave cylinder shaft will be too short.
