This handy adapter kit allows you to mount Autometer, VDO, or stock Volkswagen 5 bolt sending units into a tank simply by drilling a few holes. It includes a steel backing plate that has a notch in it allowing you to slip the backing plate into the large hole giving you secure threads for the fuel tank.
