USA made full billet aluminum sand sealed shifter. Standard 4 speed H pattern. Reverse is in the same position as a beetle to the left of second gear. To engage reverse you push the shifter handle down just like a stock beetle shifter. The male spud on the back of the shifter is 3/4-48 spline allowing you to connect a universal joint to make your shift rod.

Normally you use a 3/4-48 spline universal joint on the shifter that goes to 3/4 smooth. Then you use a 3/4 pipe back to the transmission with another universal that is 3/4 smooth to 15mm for the transmission. Volkswagen beetle, Volkswagen bus, or Mendeola transmissions all use the normal 15mm universal joint on their hockey stick.

Allen adjuster screws on the side of the shifter allow you to control how far the shifter moves from side to side to engage each gear.
