Jamar's drag racing disc brake kit works great. It only offsets your wheel 3/4 inch out compared to a brake drum. It comes with heavy duty 4 piston calipers and super heavy duty 10 bolt chromoly center hubs. The pressed in studs are 14mm 1.5 thread. The calipers are tapped for 1/8 npt pipe thread. The caliper bracket bolts to the BACK of a swing axle bearing housing. This kit will not work on 1969 and later beetle IRS rear trailing arms. The rotors are 10 inch diameter 5/16 inch thick. The brakes have a wide 5 lug 205mm lug bolt pattern.

This kit is for 2-1/2 inch long spline swing axle axles. To determine if your axles are long axle or short axle measure the splines where your brake drum was at. If the splines measure 2 inches then you need a short axle kit. If the splines measure 2-1/2 then you need a long axle kit.
