The price of this thru rod is for one tube. If you are doing both tubes of your axle beam you need to purchase two of these thru rods. Our thru rods are made in house out of American Made Chromoly Material. They are race quality and the best on the market.

One end of the thru rod has the nut welded on to prevent it from loosening. We require the dimension of your axle beam from outside edge of arm to outside edge of arm. We will make the compensation ourselves for the threaded portion for the nuts.

A thru rod is required on a Volkswagen Ball Joint or King and Link Pin front axle beam when you remove the front torsion bars. Thru rods hold your arms inside of the beam and allow the front trailing arms to move independently from the driver side to the passenger side. Once you remove your torsion plates, a coil over shock, air shock, or air bag is required to support the weight of the vehicle.
