This is a portible kit that runs off of a 9v battery.
It comes complete with:
1 - Two person intercom box
2 - Over the head black head sets
2 - Coil Cords for the head sets
You can purchase a "hardwire" power cable to eleminate the use of a battery. It does have the capability of being used with an MP3 player, but you must purchase the adapter cable. It also has the capability of allowing you to talk car-to-car. In order to talk car-to-car you must purchase a push-to-talk button, a separate CB radio or other handheld radio, and whichever appropriate adapter cable for that radio.
